Jangsub Lee has won the student Laus award for his
piece of work ¡°I¡¯m neither Chinese nor Japanese¡±.
Jangsub Lee¡¯s piece of work is based on the Barcelona experiences of the
Korean student, and it is made up of three posters: ¡°I¡¯m neither Chinese
nor Japanese¡±, ¡°There are no Chinese in the Chinese neighborhood¡± and
¡°There is no Japanese in the sushi restaurant¡±. According to Lee, ¡°The
three posters explain my national identity, which I refuse to lose between
China and Japan, and they also talk about the prejudices that the westerners
hold against the Asian and all those interesting phenomena we can witness
in Barcelona¡±.
Jangsub Lee ha ganado el Laus
estudiante Trabajo Libre con ¡°No soy chino ni japones¡±.
El trabajo de Jangsub Lee esta basado en las experiencias del coreano
en Barcelona y lo conforman tres carteles: ¡°No soy chino ni japones¡±,
¡°En el barrio chino no vive ningun chino¡± y ¡°En el restaurante sushi no
hay ningun japones¡±. Para Lee: ¡°Los tres carteles cuentan mi identidad
nacional, que no quiero perder entre China y Japon, y hablan sobre el
prejuicio que los occidentales tienen hacia los asiaticos y los fenomenos
interesantes que podemos presenciar en Barcelona¡±.
